Haeshim Baek This album includes new sounds and drum duets with novel ideas and they are still pleasant to listen to, which is not easy for some bands. Lyrics of some track evoke strong emotions. This band knows when to use electronic sounds. My favorite tracks are Riverbed, Static Heart, and Tail Lights. Favorite track: Riverbed.
Nareese

Nareese So hard to pick a favorite off this album. Other possible choices are The Line, Riverbed and Mistakes. All of the musicians in this band are world class at their art and the production is spectacular with the whole album flowing as an integrated whole. Favorite track: Drown In This Wreck.

Forget Me 03:44
Stop calling me up in the middle ofthe night to redeem yourself and make it all feel right I ain't a one-stop-shop or some kind of animal Instead of talking to me, you should be living your life put on your best outfit and go dance tonight 'cause you might be surprised by the time that passed you by 'Cause I've been around the world, and it sure ain't what you think it is Baby it's because ofthe American mold Go get a one way ticket toward a place that you ain't never been before You gotta man up to reach your goals Quit complaining to me, you should heed my advice you gotta let me go, get ahold of your life I’ll tell you one last thing before you leave tonight I will never let you forget me, for your whole life I’ll be your best memory 'Cause it's been plenty of time now see how I’m moving on and you got your head up in the clouds Stop calling me up in the middle of the night, you need to get a new life so you can get outta mine (Hey) (Get in line boy) I will never let you forget me (Alright, alright) Stop calling me up in the middle of the night, you need to get a new life so you can get outta mine (4x) I will never let you forget me, for your whole life I’ll be your best memory 'Cause it's been plenty of time now see how you're the only one here that’s freakin' out I’m moving on and you got your head up in the clouds I will never let you forget me

Some say that darkness never will amount to much, ‘cause the moon gives way to the morning sun Well the sun has set, but here comes the heat Through the haze, across the sea I could never live in that fantasy What's a tree to you is a branch to me What's goin' on in that world I left ya, ‘cause I turn the heat on and then I slept, You never know when I could come sneaking back ‘cause they be standin' up and I be knocking 'em flat, ‘cause I'm the bad one You can knock me out but I'mma hold on to my human form, Comin' from the stronghold of Daguldor, before you see me, you are gonna feel the storm I see your war and that fire and it's coming for me, Feelin' your presence every night now, swift and cunning The light will fail and you'll be left alone with only dark inside, and no place to go Top ofthe world still belongs to me, ‘cause I'm comin' back down to reality Lay your weapons down, accept your defeat What's goin' on in that world I left ya, ‘cause I turn the heat on and then I slept, you never know when I could come sneaking back ‘cause they be standin' up and I be knocking 'em flat ‘cause I'm the bad one You can knock me out but I'mma hold on to my human form, Comin' from the stronghold of Daguldor, before you see me, you are gonna feel the storm ‘cause I'm the power that you're never gonna get back everything you've foreseen is gonna collapse Escape to the west, ‘cause the dark returns, before everything you love burns Break me, help me feel again, The Black Gate has been opened The One Ring has never fallen The light will fail and you'll be left alone, with only dark inside, and no place to go (Help me feel again)

Static Heart 05:08
Never been the type of girl that’d give her soul to the world Never had a reason to before I had you Paid the price in the past, so many loves that didn't last Tryin'a own up to my feelings face to face I'm not weak, but you made me stronger I'm not cold, but you keep me warm I'm not lost, but you give me purpose Finally you can make me whole, change my world tonight Getting tired of this static heart To let you in is the hardest part You're the light and I'm in the dark Say goodbye to my static heart (2x) Your love’s the reason that I'm here, I haven't chased myself away You give me words for all the things I thought that I could never say I know I'm hard to understand, you know I'm standing on the edge See the colors start to fade, and just the two of us remain I'm not weak, but you made me stronger I'm not cold, but you keep me warm I'm not lost, but you give me purpose Finally you can make me whole, change my world tonight Getting tired of this static heart To let you in is the hardest part You're the light and I'm in the dark Say goodbye to my static heart Getting tired of this static heart To let you in is the hardest part Take my hand, we can hit restart Say goodbye to my static heart (2x)

I’ve been wandering all night Through these darkened streets I fly Couldn't stand to stay at home, so I packed my bags to roam You lost the fire and the drive, lost what it meant to be free We have to climb, keep up the fight, and make a new life for all the world to see, oh We can feel this falling off, we’ve worked so hard to get to the top, but I know I’ve lost the feel for you We can't let go of what we've got, need to stay afloat and make the sinking stop, but i know I’ll drown in this wreck (Chorus) See the world in black and white Forgot how colors made you feel Tried to share with you my light Maybe my world is too surreal (Pre Chorus) We can feel this falling off We've worked so hard to get to where we are We need to stay afloat the waves are overhead, and we’ll drown in this wreck We can feel this falling off We've worked so hard to get to where we are We need to stay afloat to make the sinking stop The waves are overhead, and we’ll drown in this wreck, oh

The Line 04:44
Cutting through the air, I can feel you already saying “Goodbye,” Silent words from your head creeping into mine This is where I draw the line I'm getting away from you tonight, I'm moving on Now I'm finally awake and I see the light ofthe sun Shine down on me now, can you fill my soul? This is where I draw the line Keep it raw, 'pon the floor, let the drums freak ya (10x) I want you to know that I gave you my all I started feeling trapped, you pushed me 'til I cracked I fell to pieces, I want them back I'm getting away from you tonight, I'm moving on Now I'm finally awake and I see the light ofthe sun Shine down on me now, can you fill my soul? We're at the finish line Keep it raw, 'pon the floor, let the drums freak ya (4x) I'll get away from you tonight, this is where I draw the line (2x) (Chorus)

Riverbed 04:43
I wanna walk down the riverbed, put my feet in the ice cold water Wanna lay my head into the grass, dream of where we're gonna go And when I make it there, another house becomes a home to you Tell me what would I do? Every day we see and grow, Remember what we used to know Things were easier back then What happened to the way we're living? We used to be so young, we were so secure with our routines and our big dreams We could break our own falls, now we can't anymore Here we are now, we've said our own vows We've got nothing left, I've lost at this bet, oh Shout out at the moon, I'm getting tired of waiting for truth I'm drinkin' at noon, straight drinking to truth And every time I fill my cup, I feel more like I'm not enough I ain't playin' the fool, I'mma find myself a new melody soon I'm a victim of youth, straight victim of youth And now ya see how I'm all grown up I understand the jokes in Breakfast Club So long since I've felt whole, dreaming brings me close Living long enough, feeling takes its toll So long since I've felt whole, dreaming brings me close
8.
Mistakes 06:36
I'm in the car as I wait, I've never had this feeling To pass the time I read through all our first few conversations I've never had this feeling Do you really wanna know the truth or is that something I keep from you? Should I hold back or be free? How do I keep you from leaving? I've never had this feeling I hear a sound when you breathe Are we here or dreaming? Our worlds collide Next thing you know is only where you're standing You take me away from hurting Then you put your lips together, meet me halfway across the room The hours go by, we stay awake How could I mistake this feeling? I've never had this feeling
9.
Tail Lights 03:16
I work hard to get my life the way I want it to be, and now I can't explain the way I feel when you're around me Take a trip around the world, so many sights to be seen All the wonders in the world couldn't replace what you used to mean Set me free from this one way street ‘cause all I see is tail lights when I look into your eyes Let me go before you ring my soul dry, waiting for you to come around so we can tame our love I’m captivated by the stars and how slowly they change Our family names will come and go and all our memories will fade Everything we've ever known, they'll watch it float away It will pass them by in the blink of an eye, only they remain Set me free from this one way street ‘cause all I see is tail lights when I look into your eyes Let me go before you ring my soul dry, waiting for you to come around so we can tame our love (2x)

about

It took me a while to understand how to make a new album. I knew it couldn't be more of the same thing, because Green was so unique. It took a while because it's hard to find free time working as a freelance musician in New York. If there is anything I want people to understand about this album, it is that it was done for free, in the room where I live and sleep, with my closest friends. Even if this band were to take off and have an amazing budget for future projects, I never want to change the fact that making an album just means hanging out and having fun where we all live. I think that's so important for this group. I'm so thankful every single day that this is actually my life, and I can’t wait to see what this release does for us. If you're reading this, sharing our music, playing it for your friends, and letting it mean something to you, you are the reason that I'm able to do what I love, and I cannot put into words how thankful I am for that. Next time you see me tell me I owe you a hug because that's the least I can do. XOXO, Gossip Girl.
