This song. Wow. It’s a journey. I wrote this song on the train one day and sang it into my phone. I also wrote the dubstep drop on the train the next day and sang it into my phone. The thing I pictured first about this song was actually the video, so when it comes out this song will actually be complete. The choppy bass goes more with the choppy video. The end is just a Dilla Joint-esque outro with fat snaps and sexy bass and sexy Joanna. This is also the only song with keys. Played by none other than the greatest Dave Mackay on Rhodes and Organ. He is amazing, go listen to his band Dave Mackay Group, JP also plays drums for them. This song most directly points to my influences. The first third is Prince, second third is dubstep, third third is D’angelo/R&B. Also, that last chord Dave plays is great.
