about

This is definitely the most A.D.D. song we have done, and I can’t wait to do it live. The vocals in the pre-chorus are from another song Joanna and I did years ago, but never ended up releasing. A word of advice: always bounce out cool things and organize them into folders so you can go back and find them! This song could have such an edgy flip to a early 2000’s hard rock music video, think about it.

lyrics

Cutting through the air, I can feel you already saying “Goodbye,”

Silent words from your head creeping into mine

This is where I draw the line

I'm getting away from you tonight, I'm moving on

Now I'm finally awake and I see the light ofthe sun

Shine down on me now, can you fill my soul?

This is where I draw the line

Keep it raw, 'pon the floor, let the drums freak ya (10x)

I want you to know that I gave you my all

I started feeling trapped, you pushed me 'til I cracked

I fell to pieces, I want them back

I'm getting away from you tonight, I'm moving on

Now I'm finally awake and I see the light ofthe sun

Shine down on me now, can you fill my soul?

We're at the finish line

Keep it raw, 'pon the floor, let the drums freak ya (4x)

I'll get away from you tonight, this is where I draw the line (2x)

(Chorus)
